Privacy Policy

• Account: your name, email address, optional username and password (handled by our sign-in provider), or your Google account basics if you sign in with Google.
• Profile: anything you add — photo, cover image, bio, church, tradition, location, favorite verse, and the circles (interests) you choose.
• Content: posts, comments, reactions, prayer requests, devotionals (private or public), Bible notes, highlights and bookmarks, saved posts, follows, and photos or videos you upload.
• Messages to us: if you email us, we keep that conversation.

• Feed personalization: what you engage with — opening, playing, praying for, reacting to, saving, or choosing “show less” — so “For you” can show more of what edifies you. You can hide any source.
• Usage analytics: basic in-app events such as viewing or refreshing the feed and how far you scroll, used to improve the app.
• Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and device type) kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
• On your device: we store your sign-in session and preferences (theme, light/dark mode, Bible reading position and settings) in your browser's local storage or the app's storage. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

• To run Faith Filled: your account, feed, Bible tools, Prayer Wall, devotionals and notifications.
• To personalize your feed around your interests and keep it free of distracting content.
• To keep the community safe: filtering inappropriate content, preventing spam and abuse, and enforcing our Terms.
• To understand how the app is used and make it better.
• To contact you about your account or important changes (we don't send marketing emails without your consent).

• Public: your name, username, photo, profile details you add, posts, comments, reactions, public devotionals, and who you follow.
• Private: your email address, private devotionals, Bible notes, highlights, bookmarks and saved posts are visible only to you.

We share information only with providers that help run the app, under their own privacy and security commitments:

• Supabase — account sign-in and authentication.
• Cloudflare — hosting, database and storage for uploaded photos and videos.
• Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google”.
• Bible providers (YouVersion, bible-api.com) — we request Scripture text from them; we don't send them your personal information.

When you view embedded content (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or X posts) or open a news story, that platform or publisher may collect information under its own privacy policy. YouTube videos use privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) mode.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of our members and others. We never sell or rent your personal information.

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete content, it is removed from the app; uploaded files are deleted from storage, and uploads never attached to a post are deleted automatically within a day. News items are kept for about 60 days. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except what we must keep for legal or safety reasons.

• Edit your profile, interests and content at any time, and delete posts, notes, highlights, bookmarks and devotionals.
• Make devotionals private or public, and hide sources you don't want in your feed.
• Ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing christianfaithsocialapp@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we will honor them.

Your data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and never stored by us, and access to the database is limited. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Faith Filled is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

If we make significant changes, we'll tell you in the app and ask you to review the updated policy. The effective date above shows the current version.
